How to Add a Link to Your Instagram Bio (and Add Multiple)

Updated June 2026

The bio link is the one clickable spot Instagram gives every account, so it's prime real estate. Adding one takes ten seconds, and there are a few ways to squeeze in more than one. Here's the rundown.

Add a single bio link

  1. Go to your profile โ†’ Edit profile.
  2. Tap Links (or "Website" on older versions).
  3. Tap Add external link, paste your URL, give it a title, and save.

That's it โ€” it now shows as a tappable link under your bio.

Add multiple links

Instagram now lets you add several links directly:

  • In Edit profile โ†’ Links โ†’ Add external link, repeat for each URL.
  • They stack under your bio (the first shows by default; "and X more" reveals the rest).

Prefer a single tidy link? A "link in bio" landing page (Linktree-style, or your own simple page) collects everything behind one URL โ€” handy if you promote a lot of things.

Other ways to share links

  • Link stickers in Stories โ€” anyone can add them now, no follower minimum.
  • DMs โ€” drop a link straight into a message.

Make the click worth it

A bio link only pays off if people actually see your content. If your reach is low, the link won't get traffic โ€” so it's worth fixing the root cause: see why followers aren't seeing your posts and clean up dead followers with UnfollowScan (find who doesn't follow you back, no login). A real, engaged audience clicks; ghost followers don't.
