The short version

UnfollowScan runs entirely in your browser. The Instagram data file you upload is read and compared on your own device. It is never sent to our servers, and we never store it. Close the tab and it’s gone.

What we collect

• Your Instagram export: processed locally only. Never transmitted.
• Email reminders: if you ask for an export reminder, we store your email address and reminder time only to provide that reminder.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We never see your card details. Stripe may notify us when a purchase succeeds so the paid feature and purchase analytics can be confirmed.
• Basic analytics: page-view, product-use, and purchase events may be collected to improve the site and understand ad performance. These analytics do not include your Instagram export or the usernames inside it.

We are not Instagram

UnfollowScan is independent and not affiliated with Meta or Instagram. We do not ask for your Instagram password and we do not access your account.
