The short version

UnfollowScan runs entirely in your browser. The Instagram data file you upload is read and compared on your own device. It is never sent to our servers, and we never store it. Close the tab and it’s gone.

What we collect

• Your Instagram export: processed locally only. Never transmitted.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
• Basic analytics: anonymous page-view stats may be collected to improve the site.

We are not Instagram

UnfollowScan is independent and not affiliated with Meta or Instagram. We do not ask for your Instagram password and we do not access your account.
