How to See Who Doesn’t Follow You Back on Threads

To check a Threads profile, use that profile’s own followers and following lists. Do not assume that an Instagram export describes the same relationships. With both complete lists from the same export, you can compare them locally.

What the comparison tells you

A username in following but absent from followers does not follow you back in those files. This does not prove they used to follow you or tell you why they are missing. For changes over time, keep two dated follower lists from the same Threads profile.

Prepare and compare your own lists

1. Follow Meta’s Threads export instructions for your device.
2. Keep your Threads data separate from Instagram and other profiles. Check that the export contains both relationship lists and all their parts.
3. When your download is available, keep the original archive and note its profile and export date.
4. Compare the usernames in following with those in followers, using a local spreadsheet or another tool whose Threads format support you have verified.

UnfollowScan’s current compatibility limit

UnfollowScan’s documented scan flow is for Instagram. Its result links currently open Instagram profiles, and we have not verified a complete real Threads export flow. Do not use it as a validated Threads checker or pay expecting that support. A combined archive containing multiple profiles can be rejected instead of producing separate results.

One caveat
